🎤Parent Information Night Highlights🎤

Our recent Parent Information Night offered valuable insights into child safety, parenting, and family involvement in learner development.

Key themes included:

  • Cellphone Safety: The importance of monitoring online activity, setting healthy digital boundaries, and modeling responsible phone use.

  • Parenting Influence: Children mirror what they see—positive habits, communication, and emotional support at home build stronger learners.

  • Child Protection: Awareness of risks both online and offline, including unsafe apps, social media exposure, and unsupervised situations.

  • Practical Parenting: Encourage open communication, positive discipline, and consistent routines while fostering accountability and self-esteem.

  • Mental Health & Wellbeing: Parents were urged to seek support when needed and to maintain healthy daily routines for their children.

  • School Partnership: The school remains committed to working with parents to address bullying, ensure learner safety, and promote overall wellbeing.

The evening reminded us that parenting in the digital age requires awareness, balance, and collaboration. Positive change begins at home - “If we want our children to change, we must change too.”
